May 2010 Newsletter
We have come to the end of another school year. It is always bittersweet for me. It's hard to say good-bye to children who will be moving on and have been a part of our life here at Montessori Pathways. We have enjoyed getting to know the families and wish them all well as they go on to their next experience and milestone. Please keep in touch and come and visit so we know how your are doing. We will miss you!
Conferences went well. It's always good to converse and talk about how your child is doing. They all do very well and I'm very proud of their progress and their growth. You all have wonderful children!
I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day. We talked about the great things the children could do for you to make it very special. It sounds like they did a great job. Thank you to Ms. Charlene (Adrian's mom) for choosing and working with the children on their Mother's Day craft. The children enjoyed painting their flower pot with lots of pretty colors!
The afternoon children are wrapping up their unit on North America. They did a great job learning about all the countries in North America and then onto the 13 colonies and also about our state of Georgia. They were very attentive throughout the entire unit.
We are looking forward to our picnic at Taylor's farm in Hoschton. Remember that dismissal is at 11:00 on this Friday (May 21st). We've had a wonderful year and look forward to our next! I'll be in touch with all returning families during the summer. I hope you all have a wonderful, fun-filled summer. Make lots of memories!
Best wishes,
Debbie
